Bargain Babe

There's nothing better than amazing clothes at an amazing price.  The Runway section at TJMaxx is absolute heaven for fashionistas on a budget.  I found my favorite deals of the year among the luscious racks full of Dolce and Gabbana, Joie, Nanette Lepore, Theory, DVF and Moschino.  From across the isles of soft cashmeres and beaded dresses, I spotted a gorgeous sweater that I knew I had to have.  I could cozy up every day in this scrumptious La Rok sequin wool cardigan.

Alice + Olivia continues to produce clothing that fit my personal style and are so "me."  I finally purchased the leggings I have been eyeing for seasons.  I will be wearing them with absolutely everything from a crisp white v-neck tee to a feminine silk frock and faux fur.

Not only did I invest in some amazing pieces but I saved some cash as well!

Kicking It Up a Notch

Where have I been that I am just now discovering Walter Steiger?  Towering feminine heels with a touch of tough biker chic, I am obsessed.

Check out the collection and love it as much as I do.

Falling in Love

Rachel Zoe's fall picks for Piperlime are now up!  Elizabeth and James, Belle by Sigerson Morrison, Joie, Botkier, Foley + Corinna, Rebecca Minkoff, Marc by Marc Jacobs... I am loving this list.

Take a look!

I'd love to pair this Foley + Corinna "Disco City" with a oversized chunky sweater or cozy faux fur coat!

I Love Luu

FIDM graduate Chan Luu has, within the last six months or so, completely captivated me.  Her edgy, beautifully detailed wrap bracelets and oh-so-soft silk and cashmere scarves have been on my wish list all season. Not to mention her ready to wear is just as gorgeous.

Good thing Moxie in Wellesley, MA has all the Chan Luu jewelry you could ask for!

Initial Inspiration.

I found myself writing memos on my phone, on random slips of paper and tweeting about Loeffler Randall, Giuseppi Zanotti and Chanel... and decided to share my thoughts and inspirations with people who would appreciate my obsession.  Personal style, fashion, creativity, new designs, styles and everything I adore will be typed on these pages as a reminder to myself to reinvent and stay inspired.

My twin sister and I have just celebrated our birthday... We dressed identical all weekend! As wonderful and stylish as she is, she truly motivates me to have my own strong sense of personal style.  It's the little differences we add- our accessories and the way we wear pretty much the same clothes- that make us unique.  Here we are on our birthday in matching J.Crew dresses, being silly as always. (Caroline on the left, me on the right).

My favorite and most stylish season is just around the corner. With summer ending and fall arriving I will dust off my favorite boots, sweaters and sleek tailored jackets I wait all year to wear.  The Joie "Twiggy" over the knee leather boot was my every day staple last year and I am anticipating the day I slide those gorgeous boots over my knees again!  This year I am searching for the perfect suede bootie. I am leaning towards the Cole Haan "Air Talia" bootie.  Love them!

I also found myself so inspired (as always) by the new Fall 2010 J.Crew Collection. A faded plaid button-down paired with a skirt drowning in sequins? LOVE it.  And how about these looks for fall?  Yes, please..

My next trip to J.Crew might be a dangerous one.

Until my fall shopping begins, I will enjoy the last few weeks of summer wearing chic and easy dresses, and my new favorite sandal that I wore all weekend, BCBG "Haze."
